While a having a newborn is one of the most exciting times of your lives, it can also be one of the most hectic. Minimal sleep, constantly changing diapers and feeding this beautiful, but needy human--you need as little stress as possible!
Lifestyle newborn sessions are convenient and easy going. They allow time for feeding and settling baby into their comfort zone, so everyone is nice and relaxed. These sessions usually last around 2-3 hours and can take place at your home or the studio.

Something about a warm breeze blowing really calms those newborns and babies. I think it's the change of scenery, temperature, and sounds, but it works like a charm!
An outdoor session at a gorgeous park is an excellent choice! I have a list of parks/locations that I love to photograph at, so you will have plenty of options.

If you prefer to have ac and a roof over your head with this unpredictable Texas weather, the studio is a perfect space. It has very neutral setups, including a white wooden floor, white bed setup, a couch area, and simple wooden toys for babe to hold. Studio sessions lend themselves to clean, classic, timeless images that are gorgeous on your walls.

The Newborn & baby Experience
A newborn or a baby session all call for the same thing--we listen to the one in charge (the baby!) Just kidding-I am in charge...I just like to let them think they are running the show. However, these sessions go the best when we follow the lead of the child. Whether they are shy with their first birthday cake, or smashing their feet into it, I have seen it all! I am excited to capture it all for you to look back on and have those semi embarrassing photos to share with their future spouse one day. Let's do this!
The days are long but the years are short. Don't let time pass you by, without documenting those cherished days and years.
After having 4 little ones myself, I get what a struggle it is. My goal is to make this as easy as possible and stress free, so fill out that contact form and let's see if we are a good fit.

If you feel like I am what you're searching for (I hope I am!), and you want to move forward, all you have to do is choose the date and pay your retainer. You've done the hardest part-you're booked!

You'll be receiving a styling guide and professional styling options with lots of great information, including how to prepare for your session with the new baby. Let's figure out what matches your little ones personality and your needs, and cater to that. After all, you added a new family member and things are crazy! Let me take some stress off your plate.
I will provide props such as baskets & blankets, but if you're wanting to bring something special, just let me know! You also have full access to the Client Closet for Mom, baby, and some timeless options for the siblings.

Your little ones session will not be rushed and will go according to how baby is feeling. I allow time for diaper changing and feeding, but really, your most important job is to relax and enjoy the memory making.
As mentioned before, having four kids really has given me life experience on how to soothe a fussy baby, so try not to fret over that. You have me by your side, mama.
For newborns, the sessions usually last around 2-3 hours, in order to not feel rushed. For older babies and children, I tend to keep it shorter in order to keep them happy!

Yay, it's gallery day!
Within about 1 week, you will receive a lightly edited gallery, so that you can get a feel for what your images will look like. From there, you choose your Collection. Once this is completed, I will finish editing your images and send them back to you!
You have the option to purchase customized heirloom artwork for your home. I offer albums, high quality prints, and other pieces that will look amazing in your home & nursery.

Milestone sessions are perfect for 3,6,9,12 month markers, as well as graduation photos. Props such as blankets, cake stands, and wooden toys are provided.

Your $250 non-refundable session retainer covers session preparation (access to any items in client closet, outfit guidance, locations, etc), my time photographing and editing your session, and secures your date on my calendar. Everyone else is turned away for that day. Get EXCITED!!
AFTER YOUR SESSION, YOU GET TO CHOOSE YOUR COLLECTION
About a week after your session, you will receive a lightly edited, proofing gallery. In your online gallery, you are able to easily select your favorite images for me to hand edit. Then, in about a week, your final gallery will be delivered via the online gallery. The best part? There's no struggling with saving images, choosing them, and then uploading them to another website to purchase your products--no. I've made it so easy and convenient for you. If you wish, simply add to cart all of the products you desire, straight from the online gallery.

Our cake smash session was determined to be ruined by the Texas humidity, but Ally refused to let that happen! She took an extreme humidity issue and quickly pivoted us to the studio, where the session was pure perfection! We never had to change our date or plans because of the sudden weather issues that arose, but instead made magic happen in the studio. The coffee table album that we have of this session gets compliments on it ALL THE TIME! We love her and her work!
