Nordstrom
What doesn’t Nordstrom have?
This dress is a great start for casual maternity pictures with your significant other. You can get so much use out of this, between a photo session and just running around town.

H&M
Known for being trendy and wallet friendly. With maternity clothes, I always had a hard time justifying purchases, because you’re only pregnant for 9 months. BUT, when you really think about it, you’re wearing this stuff postpartum as well, and the last thing any expecting mama needs is to feel uncomfortable or not beautiful. So, go ahead and get that cute trendy top-you’re worth it!
Bonus tip: this is STILL one of my fave places to shop even when not pregnant. It’s a staple in our wardrobe for mom and all the kids.
Old Navy & Gap
Here’s the deal with Old Navy–their maternity selection in stores is hit or miss. But their online selection is on point! Sometimes you’ll get lucky and find something in the store that someone returned, but if you’re exhausted from carrying around the extra person, online is a great option. Here are some of my favorite purchases from these Houston Maternity Stores;
- Leggings (JUST GET THEM!) These are a best seller for a reason
- Gap Jeans for the most versatile piece in your wardrobe!
- Maxi or swing dresses for ultimate comfort and style. Dress them up or down, up to you!
Online FAVES for Houston Maternity Stores
- www.roolee.com is a personal favorite for nursing friendly dresses, especially if you’re looking to have newborn or maternity photos done soon. They also have Mommy & Mini matching sets which are incredibly sweet and special.
- www.pinkblush.com They have some really beautiful pieces and the quality is great.
- www.amazon.com My fave panties with belly support
- www.kindredbravely.com everyone knows them for their bras, but they have other great things as well. These organic pajamas are incredibly soft and SO convenient with those nighttime nursing or pumping sessions. The last thing you’re gonna want to deal with at night, is fighting with your pajamas. Plus the fabric helps with hot flashes. (thank you, hormones)
