This business is a franchise located in the United States. They are a consignment store with strict guidelines, including not selling items that are too loved, or that have been recalled. They do a great job and have a safety team that makes sure nothing on the recall list of baby gear can be sold at their locations. I love this about Just Between Friends (Pearland) because I can rest assured that nothing I buy is a safety risk.
For consignment, you get some perks in addition to making some extra money. You get early access to shopping, YAY! And let me tell you, that’s a big deal, because people buy their tickets in advance and show up early and ready to buy for the seasons to come. They (it’s me…) write a list of all the things they possibly will be needing in the near future and come prepared to stock up.
You earn 60% of items sold at JBF with a processing fee of $12. They say sellers usually earn about $250. For the items that don’t sell, you get the choice to either pick up the unsold items or donate them to their local Charity Partner, Forgotten Angels. 15 days after you sell your items, you receive your payout from the items you priced and sold! Hooray for extra cash!
Items they do not take include items with holes from wear and tear, recalled items, items with stains, items that are broken or missing pieces.

You can easily save between 50%-90% on all children’s items when shopping here. They often have very popular brands of items, like Melissa & Doug! My favorite items to purchase here are gently used shoes, toys, and play clothes.
If you have a little bit of spare cash saved up and are looking to invest it in a franchise, Just Between Friends Pearland (any branch) is a great opportunity to consider. I’m linking some details here about potential earnings for franchise owners. I also found this video interview on their website from a franchise owner, and it really is insightful. If you’d enjoy watching it, I’ve linked it here for you.
As a mom of 4, we really try to save money where we can. Buying used is one of those ways we can save and it makes a large impact. When you think about it, you are doing more than just saving money. You are helping a local business owner, spending less on unnecessary purchases, and creating less waste in the world by reusing items that still have life left to give.
I am a photographer so I really do understand how quickly kiddos grow up! Don’t miss out on documenting their young years that are going by way too fast to begin with! Reach out and let’s see if we are a good fit for each other. I’d love to get to know you and capture your beautiful family.
