Eating out these days can be so incredibly expensive! That 30 count nugget from Chick-Fil-A isn’t 12 bucks anymore..nope, it’s $17! Everyone has had to raise their prices (or will be soon!), myself included, but man…eating out has become a real luxury that some of us have sacrificed a lot recently. Well, now you can suffer less. I’ve compiled a list of places you can haul your bottomless pits to, free of charge. Here’s your cliff notes to where kids eat free in Houston & Pearland. You’re welcome.

Magnolia Cajun Comfort-Mondays, all your kids 12 and under eat free with any adult purchase. We LOVE Magnolia! It’s one of those times that we get to actually go out to some place nicer than fast food, and eat at a reasonable price! Located near Dixie Farm and 518. As a cajun myself, I can attest to the quality of the food-the gumbo is delicious and the shrimp and grits…OMG.
Another really cool thing about Magnolia besides the fact that they offer a kids eat free day, is that they are not full service! My family and I went in yesterday to see what’s changed–They have expanded into the building next door, so now they have a dedicated eating space for larger scale events and bigger dining parties. Also, if you’re looking for catering, they do that as well! Such a great place to book for a birthday celebration or work event.
I had Steve’s Scallops with grits last night and holy moly. It was amazing and the scallops were cooked to perfection. To finish off, we tried the bread pudding. It’s made from croissant for the bread and had walnuts and white chocolate. Y’all. Go try it. I’m more of a chocolate person any day of the week, but I could not stop eating it! 2. Sam’s Boat-Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. All day long! All kinds of stuff on the kids menu.
3. Fire Stone Pizza Bar-2 and under always eat free! Kids ages 2+ eat free on Wednesday’s from 11-8.
4. Mingo’s Latin Kitchen 5-8pm with 15$ purchase
5. Luby’s (all locations)- Saturday and Wednesday!
6. Smashburger-every Wednesday. We love their burgers and their amazing fancy Smashfries!
Places kids eat free in Houston:
- Celaya Tex-Mex (North Houston location)-on Wednesday’s. 12015 Perry Rd.
- Fuddruckers-Mondays after 4, it’s not free, but nearly free! $1.99 for kids meals.
- Denny’s-this is where the big families need to hit it! Every Tuesday after 4, each adult meal purchased gets you TWO free kids meals!
- Luby’s (all locations)- Saturday and Wednesday! Luanne platter anyone?

Kids to eat free in Houston (Bay Area & Pasadena):
- Dickey’s BBQ (Bay Area)-every Sunday with a $10 purchase.
- Steak ‘n Shake (Webster) all day, one FREE kid’s plate for each $8 spent
- IT’Z Family Food and Fun (Pasadena)-do not sleep on this! Not only can your family bowl, do arcade games, bumper cars, rock climbing, etc., but for every adult meal purchased, you get TWO free kids meals as well!
