Choosing a place for Mother’s Day Brunch in Houston can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be!
One of the most classic brunch places in Houston! They have so much to offer as well. The Red Snapper over Cherry Tomatoes has me drooling as we speak, and the Fried Chicken & Waffles is basically yelling “ALLYSON, come eat me now”! Can’t go wrong for Mother’s Day brunch in Houston, here.

I really love the atmosphere of all of the Brenner’s eateries. They have Brenner’s on the Bayou, Brenner’s on the Riverwalk, and Brenner’s Steakhouse. ALL are excellent choices and you cannot go wrong, but On the Bayou does offer a Sunday Brunch menu that has everything your momma could ask for. (Minus a pair of house slippers and a hotel stay.) But no one said you couldn’t give that to her as well. From one momma to the next, bring her here. She will be in Heaven with options like Corn Flake Crusted Brioche French Toast, Texas Breakfast, and Chicken and Biscuits. Winning.
This place boasts to be for the brunch aficionados, so if that’s you, check it out! They offer items such as juevos rancheros, chorizo egg tacos, and wood-grilled skirt steak and eggs. Their hours are 10-3, so don’t expect to grab brunch for dinner. Like I hinted at, they are brunch specialists!

They are a cafe, so this isn’t their first Mother’s Day brunch go round. In fact, Backstreet Cafe’ has been around for as long as I can remember. Houstonians have been coming here for the amazing food for years, for good reason. I’m fairly certain they could take the pile of Goldfish and cracker jacks in my backseat and make a delicious meal out of it. I’m not going to ask them to do that, but instead, just go see them and let them prove it to you themselves!

This is where it’s at for moms mimosas! They offer a fruit mimosa flight–need more than that? (Mom sure doesn’t) But if you’re looking to really make her feel special, consider plates like crawfish and creole benedict or the biscuits that claim to be bigger than a cat’s head, or a classic such as the State Fair Breakfast. Whatever she chooses, she will leave satisfied and feeling all the love.

This place is amazing! The owner, Christina, started doing Charcuterie boards out of her house and I loved picking up my little lunch charcuterie from her mini fridge on the porch. She has branched out now, and opened up the ONLY wine bar in Pearland. They have so much to offer! This is a great date night, in addition to Mother’s Day brunch, but honestly, you can go anytime and check it out. They are cooking up a specialty grilled cheese and are always doing some bomb things with all the cheese’s you didn’t know you needed in your life.
I had a brief Q&A with Christina about TBTBTCBM and here’s what she said;
Q: What is something that sets you apart from any other wine bar/restaurant?
A:In addition to being the only wine bar in Pearland, we “have tried very hard to make an exceptional and unique experience for our guests. We’re high end so it feels like a great date night with someone special but you can also come with your girlfriends in yoga pants.
Q;What inspired you to create this business and grow it into what it is today?
A: I actually own another business and we were trying to come up with Christmas gift ideas. Everyone loved the boards I created so much, I started this business. After 6 months into building/selling charcuterie, I knew I wanted a brick and mortar wine bar with it. There’s nothing in this area like this.
Q: Are there any cool events or anything you want your followers and community to know about TBTBTCBM?
A: We just opened so we are still trying to figure out what our customers want. But we definitely will have tastings and pairings, some charcuterie building classes and excited about having “Music Mondays” where we will have live music!

If you are also looking for a gift for Mom, one go to that will NEVER disappoint is family pictures. This is a tangible gift that she will have for years to come, unlike those slippers (I know, I suggested it) mentioned earlier. To be fair, slippers are great too, but family pictures are even better!
So, if you were unsure of where to take Mom for Mother’s Day Brunch in Houston, you have plenty of options now! Just pick one, and call to make a reservation so there’s plenty of space for your amazing Mama!
