I actually wrote a blog post about this outdoor activity in Houston, because it is one of my favorite spots to visit, for adults and kids. Really, anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors will enjoy this. They have a ton of outdoor activities in Houston that interest anyone of any age.
The hilltop lawn seating is my personal favorite, because it’s just so relaxing. However, if you aren’t into picnic style seating or bringing your own chairs, you can reserve seats under the covered portion of the theatre. They have free performances regularly, including plays, concerts, and children’s performances. They offer a little bit of something, for everyone at this outdoor activity in Houston.
Dozens of outdoor activities in Houston, at this location alone. During the winter, they even have an ice skating rink, and I highly recommend it! It’s fun as a date night, kid friendly activity, or even just getting some relaxation and exercise in for the day. Each season though, they rotate their events and offer new things all the time.
With a 445 acre park, outdoor activities in Houston are not limited. In Hermann Park, the sky is the limit. There is golfing, zoo adventures, walking, biking, a train ride, concerts, paddle boating, & bird watching just to name a few of those activities.
